Combo: Built for large computers, cameras, and lights – including the Garmin Edge 1050, WAHOO™ Roam. The Max XL Combo shares the strength and design features of the regular Max XL with the added benefit of a GoPro-style interface, allowing you to securely mount your light or camera underneath.
Limited Edition: Experience all the benefits of the combo mount, now enhanced with exclusive limited edition colors and graphics. Each limited edition mount comes with a Garmin insert pre-installed, plus a Wahoo insert included in the packaging. Hammerhead inserts are available separately.

Problem - Go Pro falls forward with the terrain on my Checkpoint Blendr stem mount.
Solution, as suggested by Trek employee,
- get a k-edge mount
Even better get a limited edition Max XLCombo that matches the bike, the Go Pro can mount on and as a bonus the light can be fitted to it as well. Then when the mount arrives discover the mounts can be reversed to put the Go Pro on top and light below - super awesome engineering
The K-edge frame mount looks after the computer whilst the combo does the trick for GoPro and lights
